Ewa has a background in applied linguistics and discourse analysis. Her PhD research focused on job interviews in New Zealand. Since completing her PhD, Ewa has been working in a role that combines employability research and its practical applications to enhance students’ readiness for transitioning into the workplace. Her research to date has focused on gaining insights into different perspectives on graduate employability, a better understanding of graduate transition experiences, and longitudinal impacts of internship experience on graduate employability.
In her current role as Senior Advisor WIL, Ewa is responsible for the effective provision and management of advice, support and guidance to the increasing number of work-integrated learning courses and in-curriculum internships.
Currently, Ewa is also a member of a WIL advisory group within Universities NZ, and a WIL working group at Victoria University of Wellington.
